1.Transfer
of best practices both at national and regional levels.
2.Strengthening
capacity of ECOVIC (National chapter District committees and member
Organizations.
3.Networking
and concept development.
4.Lobby
and Advocacy on several issues of concern to the riparian
communities.
5.Dissemination
of information to the local communities through electronic and
newsprint media.
6To
address cross border fishing conflicts and resource management.
7.Capacity
building of riparian communities and member organizations.
8.Organizing
HIV/AIDS programmes on behavioral change and providing care and
support for HIV/AIDS affected persons; Orphans, Widows, Widowers,
Foster parents and grandparents.
9.Providing
a link between Government, Development partners and other
stakeholders with riparian communities.
